Collateral Management Lawyer – International Custody Bank – Contract (Jan 2020 Start)

The Client

Our client is a US-headquartered custody bank based in Canary Wharf. They need someone with collateral management and segregation experience to join their EMEA Markets team on a long-term contract (with permanent potential) starting January/February 2020.  

The Role

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Working on a wide range of legal matters such as:
    • custody agreements;
    • collateral management;
    • liquidity services;
    • derivatives services;
    • collateral financing; and
    • principle financing.
  • Working closely with the bank to advise on business decisions;
  • Managing junior lawyers and paralegals; and
  • Supporting other areas of the bank (where necessary).

About You

You should:

  • Have top law firm training;
  • Be a UK qualified lawyer; and
  • Have experience in any area of financial services.
