About the role
Our Infrastructure and Project Finance team comprises over 300 lawyers supporting clients across the world. With eight Band 1 rankings for Infrastructure & Transport in Chambers UK and Legal 500 UK, our primary markets team has helped deliver deals in the UK worth over £16bn alone, advising on public private partnerships, construction and services, infrastructure investment, development and corporate finance.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of work including:
(a) Drafting Finance documents in respect of project financed debt covering:
- Infrastructure
- Oil & Gas
- Electricity
- Infratech TMT
(b) Dealing with project financings, fund level financings, acquisition, and hybrid financing for clients in the Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Electricity, Infratech TMT field.
(c) Working on bank financings, publicly listed and wrapped bond financings, private placements (including USPPs), development bank financings and ECA financings.
About you
The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice. To meet the needs of the role, you will have an appropriate level of post qualification experience (4-7 PQE) in a leading law firm.
In addition, candidates will have:
-International Project Finance and Infrastructure experience
- Familiarity with drafting facility agreements, security, intercreditor agreements, guarantees, hedging agreements and direct agreements
- Experience in dealing with complex project finance transactions
- Familiarity with mezzanine financing principles
- Strong analytical skills
- Supervisory skills
