This leading travel technology business has a rare opportunity for a technology/general commercial lawyer to join their highly regarded legal team based in West London. 

About the Role

The role needs someone with experience of large, business critical contracts which will sustain the business for 5-10 years. However, given these contracts are predominantly tech focussed, they also require amending and updating as technological changes and new innovations are implemented.

In addition, you will have key responsibility for a broad spectrum of legal and contractual support to the global travel business. You will be required to negotiate and draft a variety of complex IT agreements, including all forms of software, services, outsourcing, tech licensing, and where necessary, data protection, litigation, and regulatory matters. You will also be involved with more general commercial matters and be required to liaise with their legal teams based all around the world.

About You

This opportunity will suit an individual looking to work with a truly global business, ideally with an interest in the travel sector. Whilst the business is a tech business, the focus of the business is on global travel, so any European languages being highly regarded. A strong commercial technology background is key and the ability to operate at a senior level in an autonomous capacity, whilst part of a wider international legal team, is also key. You will also ideally have relevant in-house experience, either with a tech company or as a tech lawyer for another business. You must be able to engage with the wider global business at all levels.
