The Company

This luxury British fashion brand well-known for their footwear and accessories now have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join its highly regarded legal on a fixed term maternity cover.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the business in a broad-ranging role. You will have exposure to high quality and varied commercial work, as well as the opportunity to work directly with the business, reporting to the General Counsel.

The Work

In this role, you will play a key role in providing pragmatic and commercial legal advice with a focus on B2C business. You will also have responsibility for a range of contracts relating to eCommerce, retail, consumer, digital marketing, social media, data protection and general commercial and corporate issues. This position will require you to manage legal issues both in the UK and internationally. 

Required

A strong commercial background is essential. Any previous in-house experience, particularly in retail or with a consumer brand, is highly regarded. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with and advise senior management and you must have demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding organisational skills, a demonstrated commitment to high working standards and a strong work ethic are all essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial legal counsel to work with a luxury British fashion brand in a broad commercial capacity for 9-12 months.
