Relocate to Shanghai: Prestigious International Firm – Corporate M&A Associates (4+ PQE)

We are working with a prestigious international firm that is looking for Corporate M&A associates to join the team in the Shanghai office.

Shanghai has long been recognised as a leading global business hub, and so this is an opportunity for a candidate looking to bolster their professional and business development prospects through frequent client interaction and networking opportunities.  Furthermore, for a candidate looking to relocate to another jurisdiction, this is a chance to gain broaden their overall legal knowledge and horizons while assimilating into a new culture/lifestyle.

The M&A team works on some of the most complex and high-profile matters in the market.  There is a particular focus on real estate M&A transactions, although associates advise sovereign wealth funds, corporates, private equity houses, and investment banks on a wide variety of M&A deals.

The successful candidate will have 4 or more years of PQE, with prior corporate/M&A experience gained at a renowned international firm in their respective jurisdiction.  Mandarin language skills are considered advantageous for this role, but not a prerequisite.
