This global heavyweight firm with a respected international arbitration practice are now looking to expand their offering to the market with an additional appointment at the NQ-2 PQE level. The role will focus on all aspects of litigation and arbitration, but this opportunity will particularly suit an ambitious individual with some previous experience in investment treaty arbitration.
The successful individual will be fluent in Russian, both verbally and written, and be able to demonstrate a strong academic record. French language skills would be advantageous.
The firm have worked with clients from the CIS region and Russia for over 15 years and provide a full range of legal services to clients, from corporate, tax, private wealth, litigation, international arbitration and public international law. The dispute resolution team has a number of other native Russian speakers which allows the team to present complex legal advice in easy-to-understand terms. We would like to speak with analytical and organised individuals with solid drafting skills who can demonstrate a genuine appetite for business development as this role will involve travel to the region to attend seminars, talks and events.
You can expect to assist with international investment treaty and commercial arbitration in addition to public international law and big ticket commercial litigation matters.
Typical responsibilities might include: Drafting, reviewing and amending materials and documents such as witness statements, pleadings and briefings. You might also be required to assist with legal research and prepare fee estimates and pitches.
An attractive salary is on offer with excellent benefits, and the opportunity for career progression.
