Job Details
An opportunity to join a global, listed business as an in-house lawyer working within their established in-house legal team based in Luton.
The ideal candidate would be either a qualified Solicitor or an experienced Contract Manager. You will be dealing with a range of legal issues but predominantly focusing on the review of commercial contracts and will provide feedback on legal terms and conditions. You will analyse legal and commercial risk within the contracts and propose mitigation and where necessary prepare escalation documents and reports for senior management. As part of the role you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing any other contracts that the business may require including hardware, software and employment.
The successful candidate will respond to legal queries, from all parts of the business, giving clear, consistent and practical advice on contract interpretation.
You will be a qualified Solicitor or Contract Manager with demonstrable commercial contract experience. We are open minded on PQE and although ideally a full time post we would accommodate flexible working arrangements.
You will have outstanding customer facing skills coupled with an attention to detail. You will have a proven track record of being able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in an environment laced with a wide variety of challenges and unexpected interruptions.
