A top UK City firm is looking for a TMT Disputes Associate (4-7 PQE) to join its London team.

The Firm and Team:

This firm has one of the leading and most established TMT practices in the UK. Its dedicated TMT Disputes team works with suppliers and customers in relation to the establishment, management and resolution of TMT projects in both the public and private sectors. The team has been involved in some of the most significant cases to affect the TMT Disputes industry in recent years.

The Role:

In this TMT Disputes role, you will work closely with the transactional TMT team, offering a co-ordinated approach which often results in the effective re-negotiation of problem contracts. You will also work on irrecoverable projects and provide comprehensive dispute resolution services, including mediation, expert determination, early neutral evaluation, arbitration and litigation proceedings.

The team also focuses on high profile cyber, data protection and privacy disputes and it expects this to be a substantial growth area for the practice.

Requirements:

To be successful in this TMT Disputes role, you will have an excellent academic background (a minimum 2.1 degree) and experience in an international or large national firm. The role does not require a technical TMT background but experience of TMT Disputes as well as cyber or data privacy matters would be helpful.
