Patent Attorney

We are currently seeking a Senior Patent Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE, to join our clients' highly regarded Patent team. This role can be based in either our clients' Cambridge or London offices, with the expectation that you will spend time in both.

This position will take a focus on the Life Sciences sector, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape, develop and lead a team that is at the heart of the firm’s innovation and technology practice. This position will therefore offer you the opportunity to manage yourself and shape your role as you grow.

You should have a life sciences background, with significant experience of advising on biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical clients in relation to patents and IP more generally at a strategic level, supporting clients in using their intellectual property to support their commercial aims. Previous experience in patent drafting and prosecution are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will also be expected to play a strong part in business development, seeking to generate work and nurture client relations, on behalf of the Life Sciences team.
