This stellar energy team is a multi-disciplinary industry-focussed practice group, which includes corporate, M&A, projects, renewables, financing and construction specialists working together on some of the largest and most innovative transactions for a wide range of clients across the EMI sector.

The team in London has a very strong pipeline of transactions, involving both traditional assets and increasingly renewables, cleantech and digital ventures. Clients include some of the pre-eminent global energy and resources groups, including panel appointments for major listed corporations as well as sponsors, funds and portfolio companies.

The firm's energy platform is excellent and offers real sector focus since the team's depth and global coverage is unique. Work can be quite fluid and broader than in many other peer firms and it is a sector that is constantly evolving and therefore recession proof and full of innovation.

The team is looking for experienced, technically excellent and ambitious mid-level corporate M&A associates with a genuine interest in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors. While experience in the industry sector is helpful, the team's priority is to meet candidates with top-tier M&A experience who are enthusiastic about the sector and keen to develop their interest further.

The role will be client facing and associates are involved in business development from an early stage. The team is entrepreneurial and far more nimble than many of its peers, also offering a culturally different proposition to most other large City corporate practices. It is a non-hierarchical, accommodating and progressive practice with a very fluid agile working culture.
