This market leading City financial litigation team focuses on high value, complex financial litigation work for major City and international clients, also working closely with the firm's global investigations group. Due to growth, the partners are now looking for an additional financial litigation associate - with solid financial litigation experience and at least 1PQE - to join the team to focus on financial litigation, whilst being able to pick up work from the wider commercial disputes group if desired.

Junior financial litigation associates get to play meaningful roles on major litigation in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, and are given as much responsibility as is appropriate and they can handle.

There is plenty of opportunity for associates to go on secondments to key City clients, which the partners feel is an invaluable learning experience. There is also a clear associate development path (with each associate also having a mentor partner in charge of his/her welfare and development).

The ideal applicant for this position will have gained at least 1 year's post qualified financial litigation experience within another highly regarded City or regional financial litigation practice. Strong academics are key, as is a passion for litigation and a "team player" mindset (this being a cohesive, friendly team), and a desire to play a part in marketing and further developing the firm's practice.
