This leading fashion retail company is well-loved on the high street and has long been associated with fun, sun and sustainable fashion. The company now has an opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join its highly regarded in-house legal team.

The Work

In this role, you will play a key role in providing pragmatic and commercial legal advice to all levels of the business. You will manage both day to day commercial transactions, advising the business on a wide range of matters. You will also have responsibility for a range of contracts relating to supply and distribution, marketing and branding, technology and e-commerce, concession agreements, franchising and IP licensing.

Required

A strong commercial background is essential, with any IP experience being useful. A corporate background acting for retail clients would also be considered. Any previous in-house experience, particularly in retail or with a consumer brand, being highly regarded. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with and advise senior management and you must have demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced environment. Outstanding organisational skills, a demonstrated commitment to high working standards and a strong work ethic are all essential.
