Employment Solicitor

Opportunity for Employment Solicitor with 6 years++ PQE to head Employment Department in full service commercial firm.

The firm has a long and established history having been founded over a century ago.

It is a full service commercial boutique firm which provides services including Employment, Commercial, Corporate, Conveyancing, Property, Criminal Law and Fraud, and Wills, Probate & Trusts and Notarial Work.

The firm's specialist lawyers are all highly regarded and respected in the industry.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The employment department acts for employers and employees on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including:-

- Unfair dismissal;
- Discrimination;
- Equal pay;
- TUPE;
- HR Support;
- Corporate Support;
- Tribunal and High Court litigation, among other things.

This is an opportunity to take over the Employment Department as the current Partner is retiring next year.

You will take over an existing caseload and develop the employment practice.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:-

- A minimum 6 years PQE;
- Gained in employment law with a UK Practice;
- Experience gained in a leading UK practice will be an advantage;
- A demonstrable record of business development.
