HONG KONG - INVESTMENT FUNDS LAWYER - 2-5 PQE

This major offshore law firm have an excellent new opportunity for an Associate with Funds and/or Corporate experience to join their leading Funds practice in Hong Kong. The firm has long-established relationships with many leading international financial institutions, professional advisers and regulatory bodies, and has been at the forefront of the development of the offshore financial markets. The role will entail working on a broad range of top-level BVI and Cayman hedge fund, fund of fund and private equity fund structures involving companies, limited partnerships, LLCs and unit trust structures. Applicants should ideally have experience in one or more of these areas; some experience of fund product regulation in Asia would also be beneficial, though is not essential. Corporate candidates should have high-level M&A/general corporate experience and a keen interest in transitioning to the Funds area. BVI/Cayman experience and Mandarin language skills are likewise beneficial though not essential.
