EMEA Legal Counsel, Immediate Start, 3 months
About the Company
This international manufacturing company with a 120 year history and 24,000 employees globally now has a need for an additional lawyer for the legal team on an interim basis, likely 2-3 months.
In this role, you will need to hit the ground running in managing EMEA contracts for the business including drafting and negotiating customer contracts, supply contracts and other types of contracts (including master supply agreements, framework agreements, nomination agreements, agency agreements, distribution agreements, logistics agreements and letters of intent.) You will work closely with the UK business and the wider European business, advising on day to day matters as well as running training for the business.
This opportunity will be best suit a lawyer with strong commercial awareness, who is comfortable working directly with the business and who can manage a wide range of commercial contracts. Ideally, you will have a broad general commercial skill-set, including previous in-house experience, preferably with a manufacturing business (although industry experience is not essential.) Any knowledge of exposure to EPC contracts would be beneficial and a lawyer with a projects or construction background would also suit.
