Debt Capital Markets - 5-8PQE - Partner Track - London

Our client is one of the world's largest and most prestigious law firms. Their debt capital markets team, which works across a wide range of DCM products with banks, corporates, sovereigns and other international entities, is now looking for a very high quality Senior Associate.

The team advises both managers and issuers on complex and innovative debt capital markets transactions in emerging and already developed markets.

Work includes investment grade, emerging markets, and regulatory capital issues; high yield; debt issuance programmes; private placements; and liability management transactions.

Partnership prospects are very realistic, and my client is looking for candidates at the point in their career that they are ready for a partnership discussion.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• Most likely 5-8 years' of high quality debt capital markets post-qualification experience;
• Strong legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and project management skills; people management and business development skills; gained at a top tier international firm;
• Good interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues alike and a readiness to take responsibility and use your initiative;
• A desire to contribute to growing the practice;
• A strong academic background.
• Solid knowledge of debt capital markets law and industry sector.
