This Top 100 firm are looking for a Corporate Commercial Partner to join their high calibre City of London office. You will be part of an award winning practice, which houses Chambers ranked Lawyers and is Legal 500 listed across most of their practice areas. You will have exposure to a brilliant client pool as well as working on the most diverse work!

This highly recommended Top 100 firms in the UK, are about to move into the Top 50 after 30 years of trading. This firm currently has 3 offices, notably in Manchester and London and often act on the largest matters outside of Magic circle firms. With recent national awards, this firm is having real success at the moment. London is one of their most recent developments and already stands at over 18 partners. This firm has over 80 partners nationwide. With both domestic and cross-border matters being represented across both Business and private individuals, this firm has offered real clarity to their clients.

London is seen as the project for next 5 years. They are largely becoming one of the heaviest hitting practices in the city. The Role:

This is a stand out opportunity for a Corporate Commercial Partner to join this firms City of London office.

The team advises on technology and other commercial projects and negotiates the contracts that govern them, from IT outsourcing agreements, software development and deployment agreements to licensing arrangements. In addition, they have developed specialist expertise in bio-technology and notably the law applicable to gene therapies.

You will not have timed targets as a Partner at this firm and will be fully autonomous. The firm are happy for you to work flexibly between your home, the office and 'on the road'.

The clients are high quality and often international and you will work alongside other expert leaders in your field.

This role would suit a Commercial Partner looking to make a lateral move to a forward-thinking firm.

Requirements:

  • You will be an experienced Corporate Commercial Partner 7+ years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE)
  • You will have a specialisation in Technology matters
  • You will either have a strong client base or be dedicated at building one
  • To be a business person not just a lawyer
  • In return, you will receive an excellent benefits package and salary is very negotiable dependent on experience/the individual, although it is thought it would be an above industry average figure.
