CIVIL/COMMERCIAL LITIGATION SOLICITOR - YORK
Our client is a Legal 500 rated firm with a number of North Yorkshire offices, and a commitment to both commercial and private client legal services. This role is to be based in the outskirts of York where the location offers free parking.
The firm are considering all levels of PQE but require a Solicitor for a mixed civil and commercial litigation role. The role will cover all types of commercial and property litigation for commercial clients as well as a variety of civil work to include residential landlord and tenant, boundary disputes, contentious probate and some debt recovery work.
The firm is looking to bring someone on board who is able to provide advice on both civil and commercial matters, as well as managing a caseload of debt matters. You will be responsible for handing your own cases but there will be a need to support the Directors within the team alongside this.
As ever in a regional firm you'll have client contact from the start and so the firm is hoping for someone who is keen to build client relationships and who will enjoy client contact. A good opportunity for someone looking to be with a decent practice outside of Leeds where work-life balance is still attainable. Although the preference for this role is for someone to work full time, 4 days will be consider as well as the opportunity to work one day per week from home.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
