Legal Counsel, 3 - 6 PQE

Arbuthnot Yon are working exclusively with a blue-chip global company seeking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join their large established UK based legal team. We are keen to hear from bright commercial lawyers with 3 - 6 PQE with a good teamwork ethos seeking to develop their careers in-house. 

Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel, the key focus of this role will involve advising on, drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts from procurement to customer facing supply and out-sourcing agreements.   You will also get involved in wider a range of legal issues including intellectual property, information technology, competition law, data privacy, and supporting on company secretarial and property areas with the support of external advisors. 

This role is a great first time in-house move to join a blue-chip business where you will be supported and guided by more experienced lawyers or if you have gained some experience of working in-house and want a change or to step-up then we would love to hear from you.  The office culture is friendly and relaxed and you will have lots of interaction across the legal team and wider business.  The team structure is such that there are good opportunities to develop and for promotion. 

This position would be suited to a 3 - 6 PQE lawyer from a commercial background who is keen to move into a business and have a commercially focused role where you will build and maintain strong relationships between legal and commercial colleagues across the organisation, including the commercial teams and senior stakeholders.
