DUBAI - CONSTRUCTION LAWYER - 3-5 PQE

This top US law firm is seeking a further junior Construction Associate to join their thriving Dubai practice. Applicants should ideally have high-level Construction experience in and, if not already based in Dubai, be eager to relocate to an exciting part of the world and to join a dynamic practice led by a leading partner. Their Dubai practice serves the wider Gulf region and represents regional governments (state owned entities and ministries) and major international corporations on all aspects of construction and engineering projects, from procurement and the drafting and negotiation of contracts through to dispute resolution. They enjoy a substantial track record of advising on bespoke and standard-form construction contracts, including EPC, EPCM, design/build and traditional lump sum, and construct-only contracts. In dispute resolution, they advise on international arbitrations under all forums and rules, litigation, dispute board proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. Sectors covered by their broad practice include power, oil and gas, water, large scale infrastructure, transport, waste disposal, cooling plants, commercial and large-scale hotel developments. Applicants will therefore need to be flexible to work across a range of areas and, if not already well versed in them, be keen to learn.
