We are currently looking for an experienced subject-matter expert in Employment law to join our client, a dynamic international media and advertising company, on an interim basis.

Description

  • provide support and advise on all non-contentious and contentious employment issues arising across the client’s EMEA offices (recruitment, probations, terminations, employment contracts, consultation and disciplinary processes, performance management, collective agreements, redundancies, statutory notice, severance, etc.)
  • assist the client’s EMEA, APAC and AMER regional teams with privacy and compliance programmes
  • maintain an up-to-date suite of employment related agreements and policies
  • assist with corporate restructurings
  • liaise with internal stakeholders
  • engage, liaise with, and supervise, external counsel

Particulars

  • start: ASAP
  • duration: up to 6 months with a possibility to extend
  • location: mix of remote and on-site
  • schedule: 3-4 days a week
  • compensation: competitive

Requirements and qualifications

  • excellent academic credentials
  • a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience acquired at a top-tier law firm and in-house, ideally in a European or global role
  • qualified in England & Wales (or in an overseas jurisdiction having worked in the UK for at least 2 years)
  • current practising certificate (or equivalent) allowing to practise as a lawyer in England & Wales
  • right to work and reside in the UK
  • ability to work independently with little supervision
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong commercial acumen
