This firm is represented in the Legal 500 on over 13 practice areas. Notably, they provide recommended service across Real Estate, Commercial, Litigation, Private Client, Sport, TMT and Corporate.

The Role

The firm are seeking to recruit a new Corporate Immigration Senior Associate / Partner into their City of London office.

Although the Immigration department is still relatively small compared to that of other departments, they are very busy and have had a real influx of high-quality work. You will deal with well-known public figures, businesses and HNW individuals. There is demand from their client base for this service.

You will deal with a broad range of work which will include; Tier 1 entrepreneur visa, Sponsor licence tier 2 applications, Tier 2 compliance, advising businesses from SME to FTSE 250, Acting for Tier 1 "high-value migrants", Leave to remain, Extensions to work permits and leave to remain.

This role would be well suited to a candidate that may have hit a glass ceiling in terms of progression and Partnership or a Partner looking to make a lateral move to a firm that can offer an excellent platform.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Corporate Immigration Lawyer with at least seven years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the amount of experience)
  • You will be based in the City of London office.
  • You will ideally have experience of leading a team, although this is not essential
  • A good billings history is essential, experience of introducing new business is desired
  • You should be ambitious and wanting to progress
  • Remuneration is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent bonus structure and benefits package
