Job Details
Excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within an established commercial life sciences practice. This is a mid-sized firm with a long-standing reputation in the sector, and strong client relationships within SMEs and universities.
Clients include medical technology, pharma and biotech companies and universities. They are regularly instructed on interesting spin-out work. There is a constant flow of complex work that requires an expert commercial life sciences specialist, and they also have the growth of the team in mind.
A large following is not required due to the level and nature of the work coming in to the department. They would anticipate an established partner in the field to have a strong track record and excellent contacts/following, and they are also interested to speak to up-and-coming junior partners or senior associate level individuals who seek progression.
They would also like to hear from senior in-house lawyers who are considering a change of direction. They very much appreciate the skills and network that can be developed in a good in-house role and are open to informal discussions about how this might translate to partnership in a law firm.
