National Head of Employment

We are working with a national law firm. They are looking to appoint a partner to move in as head of employment. This will sit at a strategic level and have national scope.

This well known national law firm is looking to hire am employment partner, to head the team and oversee the employment team across the national network of offices. You will be responsible for leading a high performing employment team, with the ability to define the strategic direction and shape of the team going forward. This is a priority role for the firm, which is going through an exciting period of change and direction.

The ideal candidate for this position will have worked in a high performing employment team previously and had a track record in working in a strategic role. You will have the credibility and gravitas to bring influence to the team internally and take over longstanding client relationships. You should be client focused and as a strong leader be capable of building and motivating a high performing team. This is a high performing, fast paced firm where you would and be able to move immediately into a key role at a senior level.

The Firm
· A heavyweight firm with a network of offices across the country.
· A dedicated employment team nationally with a wide portfolio of established clients.
· Extensive experience in transactional and contentious employment work.
· Clients span a range of sectors.

Candidate Requirements
· Employment partner with an extensive track record working in a national or regional firm known for a strength in employment work.
· Management experience and a background operating at a strategic level.
· Ability to take on a national role, with travel as required.
· Ambition to lead a team and drive growth.
