Education Solicitor - Oxfordshire

New! - our client are a leading Legal 500 firm with a highly respected Education practice which is rated within 'The Legal 500' and 'Chambers UK Guide'. Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious solicitor to join the team and advise across a full range of legal issues including: Constitutional issues; SEND; Governance arrangements; Trustee duties; and, Commercial contracts.

You can expect to assist a broad range of Schools; Colleges; and Universities, in addition to Governors and Trustees, on a diverse range of legal matters which may include tendering and procurement matters.

You will have a consistently strong academic record (2:1 / AAB) and be looking to specialise in the  Education field longer-term. Any regional ties to Oxfordshire would be advantageous. We are seeking a confident communicator who is looking for early client and can demonstrate a genuine appetite for business development and marketing. An ability to work in an effective and organised manner is essential and a strong teamwork ethos is paramount.

The team frequently conduct seminars and talks which you will be expected to contribute to. The team also co-ordinate charity initiatives and frequently do so in conjunction with local and national charity clients.
