What the Role Entails 

You will provide key legal support and guidance to the wider business on constrains and options relating to commercial suppliers and selling channels as well as managing commercial deals. You will also manage supply chain and distribution contracts and work with the wider legal team on strategic projects. The position will also encompass matters relating to marketing, e-commerce and IP as well as consumer specific issues. You will be proactive in ensuring the business is complaint with any changes in relevant legislation and you will be instrumental in guiding and advising the business in a wide range of matters, both day-to-day and strategic. 

Business Relationships

Establishing relationships across the business will be key. You will be working with advising the business directly and as a result, you will need to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior management, marketing and commercial teams.

About You

A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for working with people and building relationships is essential. The role requires a strong general commercial contracts lawyer who would like to step into a varied role, working closely with the business. A background in corporate or other areas will be considered with any consumer or marketing experience being highly regarded. A keen interest in the FMCG, consumer or retail sector is key. Excellent commercial acumen is also essential.
