The Role
The company is seeking a talented lawyer to join their UK head office, in the role of In-house Legal Counsel.
Reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for a broad range of legal issues which will include commercial contracts, advising on advertising regulations, digital projects and e-commerce. You will also be responsible for various intellectual property matters in relation to the group’s brands.
You may also be involved in some corporate work including acquisitions, you will advise on data protection and compliance issues and also some disputes work.
A key part of the role will be to advise key stakeholders on all legal risk across the group, therefore it is imperative that your legal expertise is underpinned by strong communications skills and the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will be a UK qualified solicitor with high-quality legal training from a respected commercial law firm or an in-house legal department. Your experience can come from a range of mainstream commercial practice areas, such as commercial contracts, corporate, intellectual property or commercial litigation.
