We’re growing our Corporate Finance team. We`ve already recruited a number of lawyers and are looking for more.
The opportunity

The team
Our Corporate Finance lawyers are ambitious and thrive in a dynamic environment. They are team workers with strong interpersonal skills, taking time to develop lasting, effective working relationships both with clients and colleagues; a hallmark of the exceptional client service and collaborative working environment for which we are so well known.
One of the largest dedicated corporate finance teams outside London, you only need to glance at the directories to realise we are tier 1. With 14 partners and more than 30 lawyers, we regularly advise alongside the magic circle and were recently described by Chambers UK as "indisputably one of the best corporate teams around."
The work
We have particular strength in the mid-market and differentiate ourselves by offering best in class service with a combination of partner-led expertise, strength in depth and value for money.
Our specialist expertise includes M&A (both public and private), private equity and venture capital, equity capital markets, corporate reorganisations and joint ventures.
We compete at the very top of the legal market in particular sectors including energy, food, transport and financial services and regularly represent a number of leading UK and overseas clients on cross-border deals involving multiple jurisdictions.
Recent highlights include the sale of Pukka Herbs to Unilever plc, the acquisition of Hydro International by pan-European private equity firm Agilitas, the recommended partial takeover offer for AIM-listed Sutton Harbour Holdings plc and the sale of Yeo Valley Dairies to Arla Foods.
