Private Client Associate

A full-service City firm is looking for a solicitor with 1-3 years' of experience to join their high-performing Private Client team. Based in London, the successful Private Client Solicitor will be offered a full-time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will be joining a full-service firm based in the heart of the City

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Managing and billing own caseload of private client work: including will drafting (incorporating trusts) and related tax advice for clients with small or large estates including businesses; estate administration (including estates with a foreign element); LPA's including drafting and registration; some IHT and CGT advice and trust advice. Some Court of Protection work including drafting Personal Injury trusts and statutory wills. Court of Protection will be about 20% of the caseload maximum. Reporting to a partner and working with a trainee from time to time. Occasionally you may need to make some presentations to charities/organisations.

Candidate profile
The firm looks to hire a qualified Solicitor who demonstrates:
1-3years of PQE
Substantial experience working within an established Private Client law practice
STEP qualified or in the process of completing their STEP qualification
Enthusiasm and team playing abilities
Commitment to delivering a high level of client service
