This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Commercial IP Solicitor to join one of the most well-established firms in Cambridge

The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a Commercial IP Solicitor into their growing Cambridge office.

You will be joining one of the region's most well-respected teams, who are Legal 500 ranked and enjoying yet another period of growth. The team are very busy and have had an influx of new work over the past few months, so they are seeking an experienced Solicitor, confident working autonomously and as part of a wider team.

The IP aspect of the role will include advising on trademarks, design rights, patents, IP licensing, brand protection strategies and brand portfolio management. From an IT and commercial law perspective, the role will provide exposure to matters including SAAS agreements and software licences and high value commercial contracts.

Due to the structure of the team, and the firm as a whole, there are excellent progression prospects for the right person.

Requirements

  • You will be a Commercial IP Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE +
  • There is no upper limit in regard to the amount of PQE
  • Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is advantageous
  • Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, and contacts (following not essential)
