Legal Counsel - Procurement

A well-known charity, with operations across the globe, is looking for an experienced legal counsel to join their established team based in Central London.

This role will report to the general counsel for the charity and support the development of the procurement function. Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contract agreements such as supply agreements and procurement agreements.
• Advising on the development of the charity’s procurement system, assisting with the design and development of the system.
• Assisting with the creation of legal infrastructure to support the global procurement programme.
• Providing legal advice to key stakeholders in the procurement function on procurement strategy.
• Liaising with external counsel when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working on procurement matters and ideally have experience in the charities space. Candidates will also need to have trained and qualified with a well-known law firm or well-regarded in-house team and have over 5 years PQE.
