Incredible Legal Director role in Travel Company- Denmark

We are seeking a Legal Director to be based in Denmark on behalf of our client, a travel and tourism global business, based close to Copenhagen. Directly reporting into the General Counsel, the Legal Director will be responsible for prioritising and proactively managing all legal, compliance and company secretarial issues in Europe for the business and will ensure that the lawyers and other members of the team function as genuine partners.

You will be providing hands on legal support for significant corporate and commercial transactions, such as strategic acquisitions, financing transactions, restructuring transactions and preparation for a potential exit by the shareholders in due course; assisting on due diligence as required for acquisitions, leading on any vendor due diligence and disclosure exercise and preparation of data room for any exit.

You will be advising on key commercial agreements, and homeowner and consumer facing terms and conditions across all jurisdictions as well as leading the corporate governance and company secretarial work for the business.

The successful candidate will have 6/7 years of post-qualification experience in Denmark or other common law jurisdiction, strong corporate experience and proven track record in M&A is a must. You will be pragmatic, customer orientated and have a proven ability at building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally.
