Our client is an elite international firm that is seeking to develop its Asset Finance practice as part of the larger Banking & Finance group in Hong Kong.
This constitutes an excellent relocation opportunity for UK qualified associates, particularly those who wish to experience a different culture and style of living, all while benefiting from substantial career development prospects in a world-leading business and tech hub.
The team acts for debt and equity financiers in addition to lessors on all aspects of asset and structured finance. Associates also advise on aviation finance and leasing matters, and transactions relating to ships, other motorised vessels and telecommunications. While the role is asset finance-focussed, the team are able to assist clients in various finance sub sectors, namely the aforementioned structured finance as well as project finance.
The successful candidate will fall in the NQ-2 PQE range. From the NQ perspective, the candidate ought to have completed a Banking & Finance training contract seat at a renowned international firm in either the UK or Hong Kong – the experience must include working on asset or aviation finance-related matters. While having Chinese language skills is preferable, it is not mandatory by any means.
