Job Details
The Stephen James Partnership are currently partnered with the latest US heavyweight to take their first steps into the London market. The firm are recognised in the US as a market leading boutique, specialising in Complex and high value M&A and Private Equity Transactions, Corporate Investigations, Fraud and White Collar Crime and are now seeking stand-out Associates to develop their fast-growing Corporate offering in the London market.
The firm has recently opened their London office and there is a desire for rapid expansion. The Corporate and Private Equity team's practice acts mainly for high profile US funds, investing into the European, African, Latin American and US markets across a range of sectors (notably Financial Services, Energy and Infrastructure. Therefore, the role will involve a heavy focus on high-value, cross-border Private Equity Investment, along with more traditional M&A.
The firm is ideally seeking Magic Circle, Silver Circle or US trained Associates with experience within Corporate & Private Equity work. Candidates with a purely Corporate background will also be considered for the role. There are fantastic progression opportunities on offer within a team that will be growing rapidly in the London market over the coming years and as a result this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Associate from a top-ranked London team to take additional responsibility and fast-track their career.
