US Qualified Corporate associate - London 1-5 pqe

Our client, a US heavyweight with a strong presence in the IT/Tech sector, is actively seeking a US Qualified corporate / VC associate at the c.1-5pqe range to support the Technology Companies Group of the London Corporate business unit.

The team advise emerging companies and venture capital firms across various industries including digital media, entertainment, software, Internet, mobile, semiconductor and biotech, as well as the venture capital firms that focus on these companies. Represent companies and venture capital funds in venture capital transactions, venture debt transactions, public offerings and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

The new incumbent will be a US Qualified lawyer with a J.D. from a US law school and called to the US Bar (NY if posisble). The ability to manage multiple projects/deals at a time, a passion for learning about and helping technology companies grow and an interest in contributing to and help grow a growing practice are also necessary for success in this role.
