Finance - Hong Kong - 5PQE +

This well-known international firm seeks a finance lawyer for its highly rated team in Hong Kong. No Chinese language capability is required, and candidates qualified overseas are welcome to apply.

An established leader in the power-sector for the APAC region is looking for a finance lawyer to bolster ranks in the Hong Kong team. Led by a known expert in energy related projects and project finance, the team is well regarded and growing. The work will be derived from an eclectic mix of clients in the East and South East Asia regions (the role will not be China focussed - therefore no Chinese languages are required) and will be varied and interesting. Some regional travel will likely be required.

Applicants should have at least five years of high-quality finance experience from a well-known international firm and should have a genuine interest in basing their career in Hong Kong. Ideally, candidates should have some project finance experience from the energy sector, but this is not essential and, though the preference would be for someone with experience in Hong Kong or the APAC region, this role is open to lawyers that are qualified in other jurisdictions.

The successful applicant will work in an established team with lots of support from a leading partner and well-resourced team and can expect a very competitive package. At this level, the firm is looking for people that can progress their career with the firm, ideally being in a position to make the case for partnership after a relatively short period.
