This unique role will sit within the corporate team at a reputed central London law firm. As well as acting on corporate deals such as M&A and VC, and commercial matters, you will be the department's key lawyer in relation to data protection issues. By way of example, you will from time to time be advising clients on general data protection policies including GDPR, privacy standards, data sharing and processing agreements, as well as on data breaches.

It is essential that the successful applicant has solid data protection/GDPR experience, as well as good corporate and/or commercial experience. Dependent on salary requirements, we are flexible as regards seniority for this role and will consider lawyers from c. 3 to 8 PQE, or outside of this level if experience is highly relevant. We are seeking a lawyer with experience in a respected London law firm, although in-house experience will also be valued.
