General Banking PSL

Our client, a leading international firm, seeks a Banking KM lawyer to join the team to manage and execute legal content projects, training and knowledge initiatives for the group within the context of their knowledge and marketing strategy.

The aim of the role is to make first-class Banking/Finance knowledge in London easily available to lawyers, increasing the quality, consistency and cost-effectiveness of the advice given to clients. The Knowledge function's purpose is to help the firm deliver better legal solutions by producing and making easily accessible high quality, relevant legal information for lawyers and clients.

This KM position will be external facing, so the right candidate will work closely on client-related matters including client alerts, client training and thought leadership, in addition to the usual PSL duties. The PSL precedent bank is already set up so the internal PSL duties will involve some knowledge work and precedent updates but the role is more strategic in nature.

The position is likely to suit a fee earner looking to move into a support role who perhaps still enjoys the client side (without the pressures and time sheets). The right candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the wider market as a whole. Existing PSLs would also be suitable in so far as either their current role remit is broader than the traditional black letter law position or they have stayed close to the market.

The firm embraces agile working and the position is either on a 4 or 5 day basis.
