BD Managers! **LEADING GLOBAL LAW FIRM**

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, commercially-minded BD Manager to join this highly-respected, global law firm. The firm has grown rapidly in the last decade, and has ambitious plans to continue to expand in the future.

Working within this diverse and dynamic BD + Marketing team, the chosen Business Development Manager will lead on devising and pushing projects through to successful completion whilst managing a team of BD Professionals. The role will mainly support the Dispute Resolution department but there is scope to get involved with other core practice areas also. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and developing strong relationships with fee-earners and senior partners; gaining trust with the view to making credible BD proposals
• Identifying ways to cross-sell the practices and sectors, tapping into existing client opportunities
• Working closely with the PSLs in the practice to ensure that the BD + Marketing team is familiar with trends and updates in the law
• Organising and attending client events and seminars, working with external PR and the central BD team, with the view to raising the profile of the firm
• Working with the pitch team, ensuring high standards for all pitches led by this team
• Mentor and coach the junior members of the team; being positive and supportive

This position is ideally suited to an individual with a proven track-record of managing and supporting a team of BD professionals, said individual should have BD experience gained either in a law firm or professional services environment.
