We have been instructed on a role at a leading offshore firm in the Channel Islands. The firm is looking for Litigation associates to join the market-leading practice.
We are seeing an increasing number of UK associates looking to move offshore, as they are drawn towards a better and more affordable lifestyle, enticing low-tax packages, warmer climate and better long-term career prospects with respect to the opportunities provided by working at a leading offshore firm.
While being part of the wider Dispute Resolution team, this role is litigation-focussed, as associates advise on a variety of commercial litigation-related matters, ranging from insolvency cases and trusts disputes to financial services disputes, money laundering cases and wider regulatory work.
Candidates will undoubtedly prosper from receiving exposure to the same high-quality work that is befitting of a leading firm in London, to the extent that after a few years of reaping all of the benefits gained from an offshore move, they would be in a position to relocate back to London (or the UK generally) should they wish to do so in due course.
The successful candidate will have between NQ-3 years of PQE. From the NQ perspective, the candidate ought to have completed a broader Dispute Resolution or Litigation-specific training contract seat at a renowned firm in the UK. While the firm is ideally looking to hear from UK-qualified associates, they are also welcoming applications from common law associates.
