Junior Legal Counsel

A fast-growing international pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a junior commercial lawyer to join their growing team in Basildon.

The role reports to the head of legal and will involve providing general commercial support across international business units. Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a range of commercial legal agreements including; distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, marketing agreements and promotional agreements.
• Working directly with business units and key business stakeholders to provide commercial legal support and risk management.
• Advising on intellectual property matters.
• Liaising with external legal counsel.
• Assisting with regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will have between 1-3 years PQE gained in a commercial legal environment. Candidates will need to have trained with either a well-regarded law firm or in-house team. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is not required.
