This outstanding practice deals with work nationally and has a growing portfolio clients. They are offering an experienced Associate, the opportunity to develop their team as they see fit, offering full autonomy and support from other offices.

The Firm

The firm has grown significantly over the past few years and shows no signs of stopping with two recent acquisitions at Senior Level. They pride themselves on offering a high profile and exciting client base meanwhile maintaining their identity as an approachable, sociable yet professional firm.

The Partners have decided that due to ongoing success, they wish to further their offering in Northampton and for this reason they are seeking client-facing, business development excelling entrepreneurial Partners to join the practice.

The Role

The firm is seeking to hire a commercially minded Intellectual Property Associate to join their established Northampton office.

You will be responsible for building or developing your client base in the region, adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the other Partners to build the brand further ensuring future success for your team.

Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist areas, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of Intellectual Property including Trademarks, Design and Copyright, IP licensing and exploitation, Protection and enforcement, IP rights, Commercial Contracts and Partnership Agreements

If you are an experienced and ambitious Solicitor or a talented Partner seeking full autonomy and the opportunity to build your team from the ground up as you see fit - this firm will work with you closely to facilitate this offering full support to ensure the future success of the department. Alternatively, this firm can provide a "team move" should you look to bring individuals with you

Requirements

  • You will be an Intellectual Property Senior Solicitor or Partner with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
  • You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
