This highly reputable practice based in Hove are seeking to hire an experienced Litigator to come in and join their already thriving, well established property department.


The firm


This highly reputable practice based in Hove area 40 strong and are looking to grow even further. They provide a comprehensive range of legal services sharing a strong commitment to the local community and those further afield in the regions/nationally. On the back of repeat successes and investment in their internal infrastructure, the firm have plans to become one of the 'go to' practice on the South Coast and their ambitions do not stop there. This firm also have plans to invest further in business development initiatives to build on their reputation further.

Whilst the firm's office is based in Hove, their influence stretches throughout the regions and along the South Coast. The role

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to join a growing team based in Hove.


In this position you will be undertaking a caseload consisting of both Civil and Commercial Litigation. This practice shares fantastic connections with local SME's / regional companies, and they are looking for someone to come in and drive the department forwards. Examples of caseload may include commercial disputes, shareholder disagreements, boundary disputes and much more. You will be liaising with other departments in the firm who receive a high volume of referral work.


This position is highly suited to an individual with supervisory experience/management skills as you will be working directly alongside trainee solicitors, and paralegals whilst growing the department further.

Requirements

  • You will have 5+ years in the Litigation Practice
  • You will be driven, dynamic and you will have the ability to work both autonomously, and within in a team
  • You will have an attentive nature, and you will have a proactive attitude.
  • You will have track record in business development, and you will ideally be well connected in the Sussex region
