We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial lawyer to join our client, a dynamic and innovative Tech company.


  • provide legal support and advise on legal aspects of commercial transactions
  • review, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (B2B SaaS contracts, software licenses, master services agreements, partnership agreements, standard terms and conditions) 
  • advise on all aspects of data privacy, data protection and GDPR
  • assist internal stakeholders with various legal queries
  • liaise with external counterparties and governmental authorities
  • maintain a suite of internal templates and policies
  • advise on IP issues
  • help the business market the company's product effectively and in compliance with all applicable laws
  • occasional company secretarial work


  • start: ASAP
  • duration: up to 5 months with a possibility of further extension
  • location: London
  • schedule: at least 4 days per week but ideally full-time (some remote working is possible)
  • compensation: competitive

Requirements and qualifications

  • excellent academic credentials
  • a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience acquired at a top-tier law firm and in-house experience
  • prior IT, Tech, Fintech, Telecoms or Media industry experience either in-house and/or private practice
  • Solid understanding of data privacy laws and practical implications of data protection related issues
  • working knowledge of employment and general corporate law preferred, but not required
  • qualified in England & Wales (or in an overseas jurisdiction having worked in the UK for at least 2 years)
  • current practising certificate (or equivalent) allowing to practise as a lawyer in the UK
  • right to work and reside in the UK
  • self-starter, ability to work independently with little supervision
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong commercial acumen and understanding of business needs
  • ability to manage conflicting priorities
