Corporate Counsel, FTSE 100 Consumer Business, 3+

About Us

Our client is a well-loved and highly-respected FTSE 100 consumer brand, one most of us come across or use nearly everyday. The business is now looking for a corporate lawyer to join their legal team. 

The Opportunity 

In this role, you will have key responsibility for the corporate work for the business. This will involve corporate transactions and structuring as well as working on and implementing legal strategy. You will also be responsible for international Corporate Transactions, managing corporate legal compliance and influencing stakeholders. Whilst somewhat autonomous in your responsibilities, you will be part of the wider legal team and you will be highly visible within the organisation, particularly at Group level.

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer take a different path and move in-house, being part of a well-respected in-house legal team and a FTSE 100 business. You will need to have strong M&A experience ideally gained with a City or West End law firm and you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent commercial acumen. You will need to have the ability to work collaboratively when under pressure.
