Interim General Counsel – Private Equity – Contract – Central London – £1k-£2k per day

The Client is a US Fund who are looking for a General Counsel to help expand the business into the PE space on an intial 6 month exploratory enagagement. There are under 50 people in the London office; but they are constantly growing after recently becoming acquired by a global investor. With current focus on alternative UCITS, the business plans on expanding into the private equity funds space in particular and lacks the requisite experience in-house.

The Role will sit on the board, and oversee the expansion of the existing business into new areas. You will have managerial responsibility over legal and non-legal personnel, sit with the business, and report into the UK CEO.
