Corporate/Commercial Legal Consultant – Contract – Central London – Competitive Salary

Our client is a top Management Consultancy business seeking an experienced lawyer to join their them for a 12-month maternity cover in their central London office. This role presents the opportunity to work alongside a smaller team, of highly experienced lawyers taking on a variety of high calibre work in different industries, with a focus on software/technology – interest or experience in this area is highly beneficial. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to expand upon narrow corporate experience and will act as a great stepping stone for anyone looking to jump start their career progression due to the reputation of the company. You will be expected to draft and negotiate a variety of agreements from standard NDA’s to overseeing the framework implementation for large scale projects. You will also be expected to cover both EMEA and APAC and work collaboratively will aspects of the international business, advising on ad hoc matters, complex mergers and acquisitions and negotiating with clients.

To be considered for this role, you must be a minimum of 8PQE, be UK qualified, have excellent academic credentials and you will have received top city law firm training. Candidates from private practice or in-house roles are all encouraged to apply. Please note this is an early/mid October start.
