Senior Outsourcing/Procurement Lawyer - Interim - Immediate start

We have an urgent need for a commercial lawyer with complex outsourcing and procurement experience to commence an interim contract by mid-September.

The role is in a leading telecoms infrastructure business, although it is not vital to have sector experience, and you will be needed to take a leading role on some large projects.  The company is experiencing high volumes of transactional activity so you will be kept busy negotiating and drafting the necessary commercial documentation.  You will need to collaborate closely with other members of the legal team and business teams as well as manage external counsel when necessary.  You must be a robust legal advisor who is confident and skilled at drafting.  You should display good commercial acumen and an ability to communicate effectively with non-lawyers. 

The legal function is a friendly and inviting environment made up of a mix of permanent and interim staff.  They are well-versed at welcoming people in on a short to medium term basis.  The company runs a hot-desk system and you will be able to work remotely if you want to once you've established key relationships.  This position reports to the Head of Legal.
