The Role

The firm are seeking to hire an Employment Lawyer into their thriving Reading branch.
The employment department is highly successful, supportive and is growing. You will work alongside major commercial clients and household names. You will work alongside highly successful well-respected Partners; you will get high levels of exposure and client contact which will put you ahead of your years of PQE.

You caseload will be varied which will make for an interesting role, you will deal with; day-to-day employment queries, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave issues and working time questions, more strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements, senior executive issues, including negotiating appointments and exits, collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration and TUPE, industrial relations and trade union matters, employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation.

Requirements

  • You will be an Employment Lawyer with between 2-6 years PQE
  • You will have dealt with good quality employment work
  • First class interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Salary is very competitive and dependent on your background, plus an industry leading benefits package
