In House Technology Lawyer - British Brand - London

We are seeking an experienced technology and general commercial solicitor to join our client, a well-known brand’s inhouse legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be a technically excellent commercial lawyer, expected to be a trusted advisor to the business and responsible for delivering risk-based, commercial advice and legal expertise primarily in the areas of Technology, Procurement, Digital and Logistics.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating high-value/complex technology contracts and outsourcing arrangements with large software vendors and service providers together with general commercial contracts, with particular emphasis on Procurement, Digital and Logistics.
• Being a trusted advisor to the business, working hand in hand with the relevant teams (being Technology, Procurement, Digital and Logistics) to understand their priorities and needs.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure contracts reflect agreed commercial terms.  

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years PQE with excellent drafting skills, attention to detail and ability to provide clear, succinct advice. The position is in a dynamic and fast-paced legal team who pride themselves on being an extension of the teams they work for.
